VIETNAM VETERANS OF OREGON LIVING MEMORIAL
"remember us. so long as we are not forgotten, we do not die"
The Memorial was dedicated on Veterans Day 1987. Since 1988, we have gathered on Memorial Day to hold a ceremony to honor our fallen by reading each name and by sharing the moment with all who wish to attend and join us in this annual rite of recognition.
Each of the galleries below shows only a small handful of photos from the ceremonies of 2022 and 2019 and were provided by Kari Pero. The 2019 event was the last time Jerry Pero was able to participate. Jerry passed in 2020. He played a crucial role in the VVOMF.
NOTE: If you were present at the Memorial on 30 May 2022 and took photos or videos of the ceremony, please contact me (Jud Blakely) and I will make an effort to include them here. I look forward to hearing from you and I'll reply ASAP to any message you send.
